Welcome Programme for Mathematics Students

On Saturday,19th August 2023, Department of Mathematics Lal Bahdur Shastri College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Satara arranged Orientation programme for First year students. The major objective of the programme was to provide information about college scheme, Scholarship related issues and information, first year college examination, and university examination Information.

Program started by paying tribute to sanstha sansthapak Dr. Bapuji Salunkhe, sansthamata Sushiladevi Salunkhe and youth idol Shri Swami vivekanand. In the introductory speech Miss Diksha Ghorpade  informed the student the main motto of the program, how it will be beneficial to the students, college approach towards the student enhancement and role in society, rules of regulation of college, college supportive nature were discussed.

 

 Chief guest.  Mr. P. D. Ghadge (A DPO of Solapur) gave the information about career opportunities and government exam and also share their own experience  about college life  in their speech.

Mr. Lakeri. A.M. in his speech assured the students about the bright future with the mathematics base. need of mathematics in  various field, career opportunities for mathematics graduates, further in his speech he discussed the scope after graduation in mathematics to career and higher education opportunities in various institutes, by using PPT.

Mr. D. V. Rupanwar was invited as speaker of special cell of college, various types of scholarship of central government, state government, university level and College scholarship were informed to students in detail, eligibility to the scholarship, online offline application and necessary document were discussed during his speech.

 

In presidential talk vice principal Dr. C. P. Mane briefed the students about the rules and regulations of the institute and requested the students to understand and abide by the institutional rules and norms.Vice principal Dr. A. S. Tawar was invited as speaker of Guidance about student role in society.

Vote of thanks given by Mr.Sarate Mayur. During this event all students were involved and student also actively participated during this program. It was a great information for first year student added by the student during his speech.

Program chaired by Vice principal Dr. C. P. Mane, and Dr. A.S. Tawar , Chief guest Mr. P. D. Ghadge (A DPO of Solapur) and H.O.D. Mr. Rupanawar D. V. Role of anchor successfully carried by Arpita Bhilare , Shreya Shelar.

In Second Session B.Sc.-II year students conduct Funny Games and Activities for first year  students. All are participated and enjoy this program.
