Orientation programme for Mathematics Students

Department of Mathematics of Lal Bahdur Shastri College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Satara arranged orientation programme for First year students The major objective of the programme was to provide information about college scheme, Scholarship related issues and information, first year college examination, university examination issues related to online and offline mode.

Program started by paying tribute to sanstha sansthapak Dr. Bapuji Salunkhe, sansthamata Sushiladevi Salunkhe and youth idol Shri Swami vivekanand. In the introductory speech Mr. Amol Lakeri informed the student the main motto of the program, how it will be beneficial to the students, college approach towards the student enhancement and role in society, rules of regulation of college, college supportive nature were discussed.

Chief guest Mr. R. R. Sabale explained the college and university examination rules and regulation, student role and responsibility during examination. Post and pre examination procedure were explained during his speech.

Mr. D. V. Rupanwar was invited as speaker of special cell of college, various types of scholarship of central government, state government , university level and College scholarship were informed to students in detail, eligibility to the scholarship, online offline application and necessary document were discussed during his speech.

Head of Department Dr. S. M. Pawar in his speech assured the students about the bright future with the mathematics base. Need of mathematics in various field, career opportunities for mathematics graduates, further in his speech he discussed the scope after graduation in mathematics to career and higher education opportunities in various institutes.

In his presidential talk vice principal Dr. P. P. Yadav briefed the students about the rules and regulations of the institute and requested the students to understand and abide by the institutional rules and norms.

Vote of thanks given by Miss. Sonali Patil. During this event all students were involved and student also actively participated during this program. It was a great information for first year student added by the student during his speech.

Program chaired by Vice principal Dr. P. P. Yadav, Chief guest Mr. R. R. Sabale and Mr. Rupanawar D. V. along with H.O.D. Dr. S. M. Pawar, Role of anchor successfully carried by Aishwarya gade, Siddhi Ghorpade, Vaishnvi and mangesh Khamkar.
