Report on Teachers' Day Celebration with Fun
Activities
The Teachers' Day Celebration, held on 9th September 2025,
was a memorable and joyful event jointly organized by Department of Computer
Science and Department of Mathematics’ in the Computer Science
Laboratory from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The program was conducted to
express gratitude and respect towards the teaching fraternity while providing
an opportunity for students to understand and appreciate the responsibilities
of a teacher.
The event commenced with a warm welcome and introduction by Miss.
Vaishnavi Mane, who greeted the dignitaries, faculty members, and students.
She highlighted the significance of Teachers' Day and emphasized the invaluable
role teachers play in shaping the future of students.
The celebration was graced by the Honourable Principal of the College
Mr. Mohite sir, who addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech. The
Principal encouraged students to cultivate discipline, dedication, and lifelong
learning while expressing the importance of respecting teachers and valuing
education as the foundation of a successful career.
The program was also attended by all Heads of Departments (HODs)
and teaching and non-teaching staff, whose presence made the celebration
more meaningful and memorable.
The event was coordinated by Ms. Naik D. R., who organized a
variety of engaging and enjoyable activities for the faculty members. The
celebration included fun games, quizzes, interactive competitions, and
team-building activities, creating a cheerful and lively atmosphere. Teachers
enthusiastically participated in the activities, strengthening the bond between
students and faculty members.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the "Be a
Teacher" experience, where participating students shared their experiences
after performing the role of a teacher. They expressed that teaching requires
patience, confidence, responsibility, subject knowledge, and effective
communication skills. Through this activity, students developed a deeper
appreciation for the dedication, hard work, and commitment of teachers in
guiding and mentoring students throughout their academic journey.
Students also presented cultural
performances, entertaining skits, and creative activities to express their
respect and gratitude towards their teachers. These performances reflected the
strong bond between teachers and students and added joy to the celebration.
The
program concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Miss.
Bhosale Dhanashri, who expressed sincere gratitude to the Honourable
Principal, all Heads of Departments, faculty members, staff, student
participants, and everyone who contributed to making the event successful. She
also appreciated the enthusiastic participation of all students and
acknowledged the efforts of the organizing team.
The Teachers'
Day Celebration 2025 was a grand success. It not only honored the
invaluable contribution of teachers but also provided students with a
meaningful learning experience about the responsibilities and dedication
required in the teaching profession. The celebration concluded with happiness,
appreciation, and unforgettable memories for everyone present.
